We’ve designed this booklet to help you be a responsible host when entertaining at get-togethers – whether they’re backyard barbecues, intimate dinners with friends, weddings or patio parties. Remember, if you decide to provide alcohol as part of the festivities, whether your event is at home or elsewhere, you may be held liable for your guests’ actions. When you entertain and are in charge of the premises and who attends, you are responsible for taking steps to protect all your guests from harm, including those who may be intoxicated. With this guide and some careful planning up front, you can relax knowing you and your guests will enjoy a fun and safe event at your home.
