Proud Provincial Sponsor of Operation Red Nose
As a retailer and a regulator of beverage alcohol, the MLCC is charged with ensuring products are sold and served in a responsible manner. However, our role doesn't end there.
The MLCC is also committed to promoting and supporting the responsible use of alcohol. Being responsible means drinking alcohol in moderation and making responsible choices long before the celebrating begins. Making the choice to not drink and drive and having a plan to get home safely is important at any time of the year; especially during the busy holiday season.
For this and many other reasons, the MLCC is proud to once again be a provincial sponsor and corporate supporter of Operation Red Nose.
Operation Red Nose is a unique December-only designated driver program that operates for free. When you call your local Operation Red Nose headquarters, a three-person Driving Team will be dispatched to pick up you, your passengers AND your car. You and your fellow passengers will be driven to your destination in your vehicle and followed by an Operation Red Nose Escort. Everyone gets home safely and your vehicle will be there waiting for you in the morning, all free of charge...although donations are accepted and all proceeds will go toward supporting sports programs for Manitoba youth.
Operation Red Nose is currently operating in communities around the province. For more information about Operation Red Nose, to call for a ride or to volunteer, please visit their website at:

Help keep the snowy streets a little safer with a single call.
